- 1925
- Gustaaf Heyblom (18/02/1905 – 26/01/1980) opens a store of scissors and razors in Antwerp.
- 1937
- The offer is expanded with cosmetic accessories so the store is moved to a new and bigger location in Antwerp.
- 1941
- The store becomes a small wholesale business of cosmetic and hairdressers’ products and is moved again to a bigger location in Antwerp.
- 1966
- Guy Heyblom (son of Gustaaf) joins the business and becomes responsible for expanding all activities.
- 1976
- Guy Heyblom (actual CEO) takes over the business which has become a specialized wholesale store for cosmetic and hairdressers’ products at the time.
- 1977
- The store moves to another bigger location in Antwerp.
- 1981
- Company Maral is acquired to expand the business’ offering.
- 1984
- Visits towards the hairdressers are diminished and focus is laid now on the cash & carry store only.
- Activities towards the wholesalers are again increased.
- The N.V. Antwerp Haircosmetics (ANHAIRCO) is founded.
- 1985
- Anhairco builds new headquarters and a warehouse in Aartselaar.
- 1986
- Company Imblico is acquired to expand the business towards schools for specialists.
- 1988
- Business is started with the Netherlands.
- 1989
- The cash & carry store is moved to a new location.
- 1992
- Company Corona is acquired, adding also manufacturing of cosmetic products to the distribution business.
- Anhairco builds a new plant in Grobbendonk to house the newly acquired production activities and equipment.
- 1994
- Régis Heyblom (son of Guy) joins the company and becomes responsible for the production unit in Grobbendonk.
- 1995
- Expansion of the plant and its activities in Grobbendonk.
- 1997
- Company Lysdale is acquired. Investments in gassing facilities are made, so Anhairco now also offers to its customers the possibility to have their products packed in aerosols.
- 1998
- Anhairco acquires company Pierre Cohen and adds the manufacturing of hairdresser capes to its current supply.
- A complete offer of products, accessories and capes allows Anhairco now to become a leading player at a European level.
- 1999
- The cash & carry store is sold and Anhairco only sells to wholesalers from now on.
- 2000
- Tom Heyblom (son of Guy) joins the company in Aartselaar and becomes responsible for sales in the Benelux, marketing and purchasing activities.
- 2003
- Anhaircos headquarters and warehouse are moved to a new building in Aartselaar.
- 2004
- Company Bevannu is acquired.
- Anhaircos production activities are expanded to private label skin-, face- and bodyproducts in various quantities.
- Laurence Heyblom (daughter of Guy) joins the company and becomes responsible for all non-Benelux sales.
- 2005
- Anhairco builds a new plant to integrate its two manufacturing units and moves to Olen. This new plant will fulfill the latest requirements concerning safety, quality and control.
- 2006
- The product “Plantex-Anti Gris” is acquired; a well known lotion against grey hair.
- 2010
- Set up of a specialized department in Mumbai, under responsibility of Laurence Heyblom.
- Tom Heyblom becomes responsible for the production unit in Olen.
- 2011
- Company Provision is acquired, hence the distribution of Panasonic, GA.MA, Termix amongst others.
- 2012
- The brand “Invisible” is acquired; well known quality hair grips.
- 2013
- Company Jezewski is acquired, hence the production of the brand “SCARLETT”
- 2020
- Take-over of the plant in Olen and end of the production.
